Post 1: Weird Post 2: bts! :D
Part 1
Once upon a time, in a faraway land, lived a simple farmer and his young son.
Now the farmer's wife was ill with a deadly disease that caused blindness, and eventually death. With his father toiling at the fields, the boy took care of her.
One day whilst his mother was asleep, he went out to see what herbs he could find ..
On his way he found a secret path hidden in the vast fields. How he found it seemed like a miracle! for he had lost one of his sandals in the grass by mistake..
The grass was tall and difficult to sieve through. But slowly as his hands felt their way around the earth, it came to rest upon an odd-shaped stone which upon touch ..
the ground started to move gently, revealing a hole deep into the ground which did not seem to have been created by mortal hands
and SO
the boy, with his courage and resolve, knowing that something special lurked within, took his first step into a BRAND NEW JOURNEY ..

Part 2
And so..
Knowing that some how something mystical would happen deep down below, the boy made his way into the darkness..
the steps seemed never ending ..
but there was only one path forward. though he could not see a thing, somehow he knew that it would be safe.
and so despite the darkness, with courage, he continued downwards..
After what seemed like HOURS, he saw a light beneath him and the air around him became COLD ..
The passage opened up with the steps coming to a halt into a large room.
There seemed to be no one.
But before him rose a shadow................!!!
a black figure..
mysterious and daunting ..
Now, this figure this boy did not know for he had not seen anything quite like it before.
it was not benign. this much, the boy could tell. A matter of fact, this shadow lived off the fear of people and it had claimed many lives in the past!
Looking to find fear in the boy,
it had come to consume and destroy!
So with that, it greeted the boy as innocently as it could - for that is what the evil of the world usually does before ensnaring the unwary in its traps!
It spoke in a loud voice that could not be heard aloud,
instead directly into the boy's mind,
"Welcome," it said.
The boy, seemingly unfazed, returned the greeting and the shadow thought to itself.. how easy it would be to have this young one for lunch ...!!
"Do you not FEAR me?" it asked.
For it was only capable of consuming those who had fear in their hearts..
A simple no was the answer whilst the boy smiled (:
"Then, do you not fear death?
The pain in the world, the sadness, the sorrow?
What a SAD world it is, for nothing is pure..
What you have today, it might be gone.. tomorrow"
The answer was simple, yet from the bottom of the boy's heart..
"No," it was.
At this, the shadow grew impatient. Even the old had fallen, but this child had not!
Truly there was not one bit of fear. Looking through the mind of the boy, it finally found something that it could use.
"Do you not fear the death of your mother?" It asked. Thinking the time had come to eat, the shadow licked its lips in glee.
However, no was the answer.
The shadow was furious.
"WHY DO YOU NOT FEAR??!" It thundered.
and smiling again, the boy gave his answer.
"What good will it come for me to fear?
For no days would be added to my mother dear!
In living this moment for her blessed smile,
This, is what I find would be more worthwhile."
The shadow, now realising the futility of his attempts, felt nothing but respect for this boy. For he had done what no other before could have..
With its final whispers, it gave the boy a gift; An Eye to see the ill spirit of disease.
With this new gift, the young boy was able to see the cloud of sickness over his mother and drive it away with his love.
For no good ever comes of fear..
But with COURAGE, all things are possible!
And they lived happily ever after (:
